Jordan and Blake's Elegant Coastal Garden Wedding
Elegance. Poise. Beauty. These are the words I would use to describe Jordan, and those characteristics were evident throughout her wedding. With the touches of gold, pintuck table linens, glass beaded chargers, to the blush and gold garden flowers everywhere, this wedding had all the class and sophistication a young bride could want. Jordan’s dress was a beautiful time honored wedding gown, and Blake wore a classic white coat tux, like something you would see on Downton Abbey.
The Isle of Palms at Merrell Estate and Gardens in Salter Path North Carolina, made the perfect backdrop for their ceremony.
As the name suggests Isle of Palms at Merrell Estate and Gardens, is bordered with palm trees on either side of the aisle surrounded with stunning gardens all around. When Jordan walked down the aisle escorted by her father, Blake was delighted. With all their close family and friends watching they declared their vows to one another.
Blake and Jordan’s reception was under the portico with a beautiful fireplace adorned by creamy white flowers and subtle greenery. The pool was dressed with floating flowers and glowing candles. Garden style centerpieces decorated the tables, along with personalized wine bottles as guest favors.
From the first to the last dance, there were smiles and laughter by all as they celebrated their long awaited day.
Blake and Jordan hired Divine Inspirations Weddings, for our full service planning package thirty days before their wedding. Due to the unforeseen events of 2020 they had to move their wedding from Michigan to North Carolina. No one would have guessed that all of this came together in thirty days! Yep, you read that right thirty days.
Jordan and Blake had been planning their wedding for over a year, all the details had been nailed down, vendors picked, everything was set. When Blake got the no travel order from work it meant their wedding either had to be canceled or moved. Getting married and starting a life together was now more of a priority over the large wedding they had originally planned. So, they pared down their guest list, from 200 to 40, contacted Divine Inspirations Weddings, made all the travel plans, sent out the new invitations and information and headed down to good ol’ North Carolina.
As perfect as their day was, all the smiles on their faces, the laughter, the fun, you would have never known their story and the struggle to get there.
